Conferència HEARTS en Català

Rethinking Mental Health in Higher Education

HEARTS Final Conference & CORE Salut Mental Seminar

1st & 2nd December 2025 At Campus de Bellaterra (UAB)

The HEARTS Final Conference of the European project and the CORE Salut Mental Seminar bring together universities, professionals and community organisations to rethink mental health and well-being in academia.

Across two days of activities, the programme combines research, dialogue and creative practice. It includes the presentation of the HEARTS project and the CORE Seminar, where key results and reflections on mental health in academic settings will be shared. A European round table will address institutional responsibility, emerging challenges and good practices among partner universities. In addition, interactive workshops by Abilis will explore community-based and trauma-informed approaches to fostering inclusive well-being in higher education.

The conference will also feature the opening of the HEARTS Photo Exhibition and a Forum Theatre performance by La Xixa Lab, inviting collective reflection and action on mental health and inclusion in university life. A networking space will showcase different UAB services that promote health and inclusion. Finally, “Talks! New Initiatives that Foster Inclusive Well-being in Academia” will present current CORE Salut Mental projects on resilience, belonging, anti-racism, art-based well-being, research culture and digital mental health.

We warmly invite all members of the university community and anyone interested in well-being, inclusion, and innovation in higher education to join us. Attendance is free with prior registration.
